Kafarra plans to graduate with a degree in Music and Performing Arts and then become Miss America. She is ranked 5th in a class of 752 students and is a member of National Junior Honor Society, FCA, and a top music student. Kafarra has been chosen Athlete of the Month; Red Cross Youth Volunteer of the year; Top Music Student; and Lead Soloist. She plays Alto Saxaphone; basketball; voleyball; and runs track. As a titleholder, Kafarra wants to spread the word about the "Awareness and Prevention of Teenage Illiteracy" and will use the power of the title to educate the public and get help for teens. She hopes that by helping someone to learn that Reading is Knowledge and Applied Knowledge gives you the power to become anything you want to be, she will make a huge difference in the lives of others. |
