Ashley is an honor roll student and a member of National Junior Honor Society. She is a 1st place winner in UIL Creative Writing and Oral Reading and was the Middle School Spelling Bee Champion. Ashley is 1st chair tenor saxaphone in her school's Honors Band and 2nd chair tenor sax in the Regional Honors Band. Her middle name (Pauline) goes back four generations in her family, and yes, her hair really grows out of her head this curly! Ashley plans to spread the word about the dangers of overexposure to the sun. She wants to be remembered as the girl who was not afraid to show her "true colors". Ashley promises to promote the values of Miss Teen Duncanville and to use her year of service to educate people about the dangers of skin cancer. She truly believes that she is ready to get out there and spread the word.
