| Ashley is a junior attending the University of Texas at Arlington seeking a Bachelor of Art in Communications degree. Ashley has a twin sister. She placed in the state level for dance competition and represented Texas in Miss Dance/Drill Team USA in Anaheim, CA. She also performed in Washington DC for the 2009 Presicential Inauguration. During her year of service, she will strive to be remembered as "the one who used her crown to make a difference". With that said, she hopes that she can leave a mark for people to remember how important it makes other feel when you take time out of your schedule to volunteer. Her chosen platform this year is VIP ~ Volunteering Improves People. With so many volunteer opportunities in Duncanville, Ashley feels that it would be her mission to get people involved. She is excited to represent Duncanville this year and is determined to make a difference in the lives of others. |
